Digital Marketing Executive – 12-Month Fixed-Term Maternity Cover (£28,000 – £29,000 per annum)
We are Mantra Learning, one of the UK’s leading logistics learning and development organisations. We are an Ofsted grade 2 independent training provider who have specialised in providing training within the sector for over 58 years. The Manchester site is well established as one of the largest specialist logistics training facilities in the UK. Through our two key brands, The Job Gym and The National Logistics Academy we help thousands of individuals each year to gain new skills. This enables our learners to obtain employment within the logistics sector and drives the long-term growth of the industry We work with some of the biggest brands in the country, including ALDI, GXO and Travis Perkins, delivering approximately 400 Apprenticeships and over 1000 HGV licences each year. The organisation is dedicated to deliver programmes that develop the ‘Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours to enable learners to thrive in life and work’.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our friendly team. The position is full-time, working 37.5 hours a week based in Middleton, Greater Manchester.
Content Creation and Copywriting
- Create engaging, SEO-friendly content for websites, blogs, email campaigns, newsletters and social media.
- Produce compelling B2B and B2C communications aligned with brand tone of voice.
- Adapt complex information into clear, engaging copy and visual content.
Photography, Video and Multimedia
- Plan, film, edit and deliver high-quality photography, video and multimedia content using Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro.
- Create motion graphics, animations and visual assets to support campaigns and brand storytelling.
- Capture interviews and content featuring learners, tutors, staff, employers and visitors.
Digital Marketing and Campaigns
- Plan, deliver and evaluate integrated B2B and B2C campaigns across social media, email and PPC.
- Develop creative campaigns to engage employers and learners across Logistics, Automotive and Construction.
- Support events, exhibitions, awards and job fairs.
SEO and Website Management
- Optimise website content for SEO, user experience and engagement.
- Conduct keyword research, identify content opportunities and manage website updates through the Group’s CMS.
- Monitor SEO performance and improve organic visibility.
Analytics and Performance
- Track and report on campaign, website and multimedia performance.
- Use data and audience insights to improve engagement, conversions and ROI.
- Optimise customer journeys to increase employer enquiries and learner applications.
Brand Experience and Innovation
- Deliver consistent, brand-aligned experiences across digital channels and customer touchpoints.
- Identify new audiences, market opportunities and emerging digital trends.
- Continuously improve content, user experience and marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent apprenticeship in Marketing or related studies.
- GCSE A-C or equivalent in maths and English and ICT qualification Level 3.
Experience
- Demonstrable MS Office experience with excellent Excel skills, preferably some HTML and CSS experience.
- Experience of managing website content through a CMS such as WordPress/Elementor, or a comparable platform.
- Portfolio evidencing previous digital marketing experience.
- Relevant work experience (6 months+) and a passion for marketing and brand engagement.
- Practical experience filming and editing content for social media, campaigns, events or websites.
